The obverse of the coin features the famous design of Lady Liberty, created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens for the $20 Double Eagle gold coin in 1907. The reverse features a family of American eagles, with a male eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest containing a female eagle and eaglets.
