2022 15 Gram Chinese Panda Gold Coin

The 2022 15 Gram Panda is a Chinese gold coin, minted by the China Gold Coin Incorporation. The weight of the coin is 15 grams with a fineness of 999.9 (24 carat gold), this means it contains 15 grams of pure gold. The diameter of the coin is 27 mm. The 15g Gold Pandas have a face value of 200 Yuan and are legal tender in China.

The obverse of the 2022 Chinese Panda 15g depicts the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The Chinese characters for the People’s Republic of China and year of issue can also be seen.

The inscription on the coin reads ‘中华人民共和国’, which translates to ‘ People’s Republic of China’.

The reverse of the 2022 15 Gram Gold Panda depicts two pandas playing in the snow, in tribute to the Winter Olympics. The coin also features the privy mark for the 40th anniversary of the Panda series, the weight and purity of the coin, and its face value of 200 Yuan.
