Each 2025-W 1/10 oz Proof American Gold Eagle Coin is struck with frosted design elements and a mirrored background. The coin arrives in a plastic capsule with a presentation box, a themed shipper, and a Certificate of Authenticity from the US Mint.
The 1/10 oz Proof American Gold Eagle was one of the final two coins introduced in this series. When the US Mint launched Proof American Gold Eagles in 1986, only the 1 oz coin was offered to collectors. The 1/2 oz coin debuted in 1987, followed by the 1/10 and 1/4 oz coins in 1988. Historically, the 1/10 oz Proof Gold Eagle has proven popular with collectors and holds the third-highest mintage in program history behind the first two issues of the 1 oz Proof Gold Eagle.
